I just (finally) figured out how to make a significant improvement to the Random Blog Button. Now, in a single viewing session (not closing your web browser, even if you leave the site and come back), the same blog should not come up more than once.
So, what does this mean? It means that Premium Blogs are still more likely to come up early on, but once they do, you won't see them again for that session. For example, during my final test, Skittles was the 2nd blog to come up...and Doctor Anonymous came up 15th. This is not surprising, considering they are the top 2 premium donators. However, once these 2 came up, they didn't come up again in the hundreds of more clicks I did. So, this change won't decrease the number of visitors any site has, but could reduce redundant page views.
This just makes more sense. If I spent 3 or 4 minutes at Skittles blog after randomly surfing over there, do I really want it to come up in the rotation 20 blogs later? Not really...I know Barb does a TON of posting, but it's unlikely she has anything new to see by then. However, once I close my browser and come back later that day or that week or that month, then I'll have the chance to check out some of the same blogs again...hopefully with new content!
So do me a favor and surf on over to the Random Blog Button and give it a few clicks, let me know what you think of the new setup. I'd really appreciate any input you guys might have and any more improvements you might be able to think of! THANKS!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I love coupons!!! For example, when I go to the grocery store, I don't make a list...I just go and see what is on sale and buy that. Some weeks it doesn't work out so well, but whenever there's a good sale on something I know we'll use a lot of, I stock up big time. I don't use many coupons at the grocery store, just because they are only ever for a few pennies. But, I would definitely use coupons for Amazon.com, that save me dollars, not cents, at a time.
His humor isn't for everyone, granted. I find him hilarious. He can take a routine thing, like a tour of his town of Springfield, Ohio, and turn it into a funny road trip.
He is a Bestest Blogger in the sense that he creates a sense of community and communication on his site -- he loves comments, and loves to comment on your comments! Frequently his wit and puns in his comments are just as funny as his blog articles.
His blog also has great reading material in the sidebar -- where most of us have ads, Matt-man has put things like Word Of The Day, This Day In History, a Quotation Of The Day, along with two games: hangman, which I thought I was good at until faced with words like "Thorax", and a vocabulary match game; again, I thought I was above average in the field of vocabulary words -- however, I am lucky to get 3 out of 5 on a daily basis with this match game, courtesy of The Free Dictionary.
Matt-man was at his best, recently, when he planned a dinner party: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner. He invited Josef Stalin, George W Bush, and Jesus to his place for a dinner. No dates were allowed, but that didn't stop Stalin from bringing Gina Lollobrigida as his dinner companion. Matt-man's pre-dinner planning with Let's Get Ready To Rumble was one of the funniest things I've read all year. Put all these funny, discordant elements into a blender -- with a generous dash of Wild Irish Rose, of course, and you have Bag Wine Ruminations. You never know what to expect, but I'll bet it will make you laugh.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts (To PPP reviewer...you said half of my posts have to be about technology. Well over half of my posts are on the topic of blogs and the internet...though you working at a fancy company may take these things for granted, they are still relatively new form of technology to most of us) As my regular readers are very aware, technology, especially the technology of the internet and blogs, (i.e. widgets, javascript, web 2.0 companies) is a recurring topic here. Well, for every awesome new feature to add onto your blog, there is an awesomely bad feature waiting to cripple your blog or worse your whole computer. Antivirusdownload.com is a website helping you to escape that problem with their Norton 2007 download and other software as well. Why, just today, someone tried to send me a virus disguised within an alleged eBay email. What immediately tipped me off was it wasn't the email I use for eBay. If that had sent it to the right email maybe I would've been tricked. But I have my antivirus already, so it doesn't matter!
This week's carnival has the category of "Your Funniest Post of 2006." Entries aren't due in until January 2nd at 11:59PM to BestestBlog@gmail.com, so you still have time to crank out a hilarious 2006 post. This is bound to be an amazing collection of posts, so be sure yours gets to be part of it!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts What is Sproose.com? No, it's not about the common decidious tree the SPRUCE. It's also not about the migrating gaggle of animals the GOOSE. Visit the Sproose home page to learn everything, but I'll give you a summary. Google has advanced automated strategies for ranking web pages. However, many webmasters have gotten these down to a near science and are able to perfect their ranking higher than it should be. Sproose is a search engine where the users rank the web pages. For each search term, if it is EXACTLY what you are looking for, then give it a 5. If it's nowhere near close, give it a 1. As more and more users join the service, the ranks get amazingly accurate. And who's smarter, a big group of online users or an automated computer system?
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Below is another video of the Pay Per Post Postie Patrol. On PPP's touring of the country, they stop off in major cities and offer loyal members the special chance to win some extra prizes. My absolute favorite part of this video is Robin's reaction. First she finds out that she has the chance to win an HP Digital Photo Printing package with camera, printer, the works. Then, she finds out that $1000 cash is a possibility as well and her jaw just about drops, it's hilarious. But I'd imagine reacting the same way given the chance. And if they wanna give me the chance I would gladly take it. Hehe! This post is sponsored by HP.
The "family"-themed carnival is up and ready for your reading pleasure over at Jessie's blog "Who Are We." There are a lot of excellent posts and Jessie did an equally excellent job putting it all together. Remember, if you joined in this carnival, please do make a post on your blog directing everyone to go check it out. Even if you didn't join you could mention it too, there are a lot of good posts to read. The URL is http://hunna2.blogspot.com/2006/12/bestest-blog-carnival-12.html, thanks everyone. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas, check back here tomorrow for a new "Bestest Blog of the Day," but for the meantime just go enjoy the carnival!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts So, the guys over at Pay Per Post have starting a reality tv website chronicling their journey from nothingness to an internet force to be reckoned with. While I love Pay Per Post, I have to be honest (which they allow me to be in my reviews and I am totally appreciative of that), while the videos have some interesting qualities, they're kinda boring. I definitely don't find myself looking forward to the next episode or anything like that. Well, there you have it, Pay Per Post pays you to write honest, sometimes less than flattering reviews, even about their own endeavours. Check out the video for yourself and draw your own conclusions though!
Remember, now not only are you bidding for a nice big link on a PageRank 5 blog with 2000+ visitors a day, but also on one of the top 1000 blogs on the internet! Plus you appear extra often in the Random Blog button for each $ in your winning bid and part of that money goes to being premium at the end of the month! That would certainly make a nice Christmas present for a blogging buddy, hehe. Thanks for looking and happy holidays!
P.S. This will be my last post before the holidays...we're packing up the car now! So Merry Christmas and I'll see you guys again soon!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I love doing Pay Per Post opportunities about baseball...because I love baseball. And no team has had a more successful off season than the Chicago Cubs. Well, maybe successful isn't the right word, since time will tell on that front. A better word is probably exciting and shopping-spree-like. Spring Training tickets to the Chicago Cubs will likely be in high demand as people flock to warmer climates during winter (see previous baseball post for winter vs. spring rant) to check out the Cubs new players. Ted Lilly, Alfonso Soriano, resigned Aramis Ramirez...Derek Lee should be healthy again Plus, new manager Lou Pinella! Should be exciting!
Merry Christmas Eve Eve, Bestest Blog readers! This week's updates are complete and can be seen on the Recent Additions page. Thanks to all my new links (only 53 this week, not a new record, but good for 3rd place ever) and to the generous donators of the week (there were 7 new ones and a few repeats!). Below are the blogs who fell out of the top 100 and therefore off the sidebar. Sorry guys...but remember you can always add to your total!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts You know, they call it spring training, but it starts in February and ends at the end of March...so only like a week of that is actually spring. Might as well call it winter training. And do you really need an excuse to buy some SF Giants Spring Training tickets and head on down to sunny Arizona for a couple days and relax? Oh...you do need a reason? How about checking out future HR champ Barry Bonds? Controversary aside, he is on pace to break the record this year if he can stay healthy!
Hey guys, the deadline for the next carnival is quickly approaching. All entries must be received by December 24th at 11:59 PM. The theme for this carnival is family. Here is an easy step-by-step guide to enter the carnival: 1. Join the link exchange (if you haven't already) 2. Pick out a post you've written about family, or write a new one! 3. Send an email to BestestBlog@gmail.com with the post URL and title. 4. Check out the blog "Who We Are" on December 27th to see the carnival.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts My car is kinda old, before tinted windows were the default for many standard models. I am a very frugal person (read cheap). I am not gonna go out and pay some guy an insane amount of money just to tint my windows. Now if there were a home window tint system where I could save a bunch of money, maybe I'd give it a second thought. Oh wait there is, just click on that link! It could make your car look cooler, but you could also use it on your house to reduce heating bills in the winter time.
My pick for Bestest Blog of the Day has to be Here Comes A Storm...In The Form Of A Girl! I am loving this blog. I think Starrlight may possibly be my twin... or at least a very distant relative. She too was kicked out of girl scouts when she was 12! I thought I was the only one.
Starrlight is a very busy blogger. I had a hard time finding a day that she didn't post at least once. Starrlight participates in Wordless Wednesday and Thursday Thirteen. I have to admit that her Thursday Thirteen makes me chuckle, often and loudly!
This blog has a good balance of fun and substance. Starrlight can go from posting about the hotties she likes to a tribute to John Lennon. She provides her readers with movie reviews and great advice about shopping RED smart.
Starrlight is on the countdown to a trip to Hawaii. She only has 14 weeks till she is basking in the sun. So until then stop by and wish her a happy time as the Bestest Blog of the Day! Make sure to tell her that Jessie sent you via The Bestest Blog Of All Time.
Bobby's addendum: Great pick Jessie! This is a great blog...not only does the content make me chuckle like you said, but the name makes me chuckle too. And Starrlight has been a great regular visitor since she stumbled onto my site not too long ago!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts YouTube is pretty sweet. You can have like your own channel of videos, kinda like you'd have a channel on TV. People have been known to make their own low budget sitcoms and develop quite a following on YouTube. Pay Per Post has one of these channels. On it they have all their Rock Start Up videos, all their one on one confessionals, they got their Postie Patrols (where they visit people and surprise them with prizes and money), among other things. The video below is a confessional from Terrence, the newest member of the Pay Per Post team. Check out these videos among others on the payperpost video network!
Valentine's Views on Sports I was doing a little random blog surfing tonight and stumbled upon this site. The top post on the site was a celebratory one, rejoicing in the fact that one of Ed Valentine's articles had been featured on Deadspin, a popular sports blog I had actually heard of before! Intrigued by this distinction, I read on...
The post that had been featured was actually a 5-part series on the New York Giants. Now, I am not really a football fan, but I appreciate a well-written and comprehensive piece when I see one. Valentine broke down the team and wrote well-balance and well-thought out articles in 5 different parts: the defense, the offense, the special teams, the coaching staff, and the general manager.
So, I thought to myself, "That was a good read, but football's not my thing...I wonder if he has any baseball on here." So, I scrolled down 3 posts past this Giants series and not only found baseball, but found an article on the baseball story I've been closely following this offseason. The New York Mets are my team, and the big story with them right now is trying to acquire free agent pitcher Barry Zito. Well Valentine had an article on that very subject (and he shares many of my opinions on the subject!). I wonder if Ed Valentine is any relation to former Mets manager turned outcast Japanese manager Bobby Valentine...
Anyway, this is a very well-written sports blog and I am very happy to add to Ed's pile of accolades. So go check out Valentine's Views on Sports, great for fans of any sport!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I am going to try to do a serious post about an often laughable problem... Please be respectful of those who are suffering (if you can!). Irritable Bowel Syndrom (IBS) affects over 2 million Americans. So if you are one of them, learn about Relieving IBS with Digesthelp, a clinically proven drug that eliminates symptoms in just a few days without any side effects. It could even eliminate the disease with prolonged use. Thanks for reading (and hopefully not laughing).
You are now reading one of the top 1000 blogs on the internet according to Technorati. This is out of over 2 million! I just want to thank everyone for linking me up and getting me this far. All this in just UNDER 6 months (January 1st will mark the 6 month anniversary of Bestest Blog). Next stop: top 100 (perhaps by the 1 year mark!).
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Credit Cards have a lot of positives and negatives. On one hand they are much easier to have around than cash...not to mention being able to purchase things online at retailers such as Amazon dot com. Plus, with many cards you can earn cash back or rewards points or airline miles. On the other hand, it is easy to rack up credit card debt and end up paying a lot more than you would have otherwise. Plus, you can convince yourself into buying things you don't really need. It takes a responsible person to fully realize the greatness of credit cards without getting burned. If you need help becoming this person check out this site for informative credit card news and credit card advice.
It was the seventies. Who knew that nearly forty years later what started as a group of teenagers talking into a tape recorder would now be an internet blog entity? Who knew? Somehow, Bud did. "Even at 15, I knew we were talking to someone, we just didn’t know who or when," he recalls. That's right. An award-winning radio station that nobody has ever listened to (Never mind the adolescent brainstorm that branded the not-so-subtle callletters. I know what you're thinking. But what could be so bad about W-Tape-Is-Tape?!) WTIT's lifelong professional DJ and comedy writer Bud Weiser explains, "Even though I know that WTIT is a Tape Radio Station that no one can hear, I do not believe it. I believe everyone listens and they are too shy to admit it." He may be right. The nation's longest running tape radio station is now a blog with over 200 articles. With links to reel-to-reel tapes of music shows and comedy bits - the current group of DJs just recorded tape 566 - much more went into the evolution of WTIT. You can "hear" their brand of humor here and here for "Your Dog's Name Was Happy." It has evolved over the years - changing DJs,invisible DJs,famous DJs-as have radio stationsin general; but the comradery remains intact. Read WTIT's The First Tape Radio Show. It was a moment. Bud Weiser is a comedian to the core; but he is a DJ at heart. Want funny? Just read his hilarious weekly series called Dating Profiles of The Week. Want serious reflection? This piece on the late Bob Steele and Bill Savitt called Drinking Songs and Gentlemensays it all.Maybe what makes Bud's blog successful is that he feels right at home with an unseen audience. "At times it is like a vacuum. But all those years on the radio I could not feel the audience either." Forty years ofnostalgic comedy and friendships and memories (still in the making) speak volumes about his unique talent. It is remarkable and commendable that he has taken the time - and had the wherewithal - to write it all down. If you were present during the late sixties and seventies, this blog is a must-read. The photographs alone are worth the price of admission. "In the mix" there's never a shortage of hilarious antics by a determined group of performers who never stopped creating comedy. Did you ever jump into cars with strangers just to meet girls? Bluff your way into dead-end dating scenarios ON PURPOSE? Do you rely on your cab driver to maintain your social calendar? I didn't think so. But that's a regular news day at WTIT. Bud's too busy trying to stay out of trouble to do sports and weather. While funny dating stories, wacky memes, his ongoing love affair (NOT) with Britney Spears-(adult content warning label clearly marked) and Bud's warped sense of perfectly logical humor prevail, the essence of WTIT is the pulse of something more profound: friendship.
He says, "We are just a group of friends who recorded almost every detail of our lives for almost 40 years.......the trials and convictions of a group of friends." Bud's been bloggin' a long time.
But the one constant has been Bud Weiser - who is wiser -and still defined by the music. In fact, it's always been aboutthe music.
If you're seeking a delightful blend of humor and substance, click on over to Bud's place ..er....radio station....and tell him Mimi andBestest Blog Of All-Timesent you.

Now without further adieu...

Jeff has a hilarious post about what might happen if the Starship Enterprise (Captain Kirk, Dr. Spock, et al) through a wormhole travelled back to the early 21st century...special guest appearance by Kevin Bacon!
Political Posts...
Heather from Beautiful British Columbia has a very interesting post about her experiences with the Congressional Medal of Honor...from unknowingly moving next door to a recipient to attending the inauguration ceremony in Washnington, D.C. in 2005.
Simon from The Secret of Life has an intellectual post called "Thinking Outside the Illusion", where he discusses his thoughts and interpretations of a recent Time Magazine article "God vs. Science."

Over at Monetize Your Blog there is a helpful post about a List of Blog Directories to help increase your exposure and traffic. Unlike Chris above, my site is not listed as one...ouch diss (though he did later mention me here).
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Since joining Pay Per Post, I have had the opportunity to be an advocate of consumer products from all sides of the web and globe. I just wanted to say it's been a lot of fun. I always thought a career in advertising looked like fun, now it's kinda like in a way I have one. Any way, today's product du jour is about maternity care. I am newly married and definitely want to have kids some day. It's really important to have a complete maternity service package, for the health of the baby and of the mother. But, do you know the Cost of Having a Baby? It's not cheap. I'm not just talking about the seemingly endless supply of food and clothes you have to buy for it...I'm talking about the actual physical process of giving birth to the baby in the hopsital!
I'm going to forego doing a Bestest Blog pick again tomorrow (Tuesday) because you guys are having so much fun clicking away at the carnival. Check back Wednesday for a new blog pick from Mimi. In the mean time, please try to visit ALL 44 carnival entries...each special in its own way!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I've been known to post my fair share of Funny Videos on here...plus I've been known to feature my fair share of funny video blogs. Well, I just found this site Jokeroo that may just very well be the hottest video site on the web. The collection that have is really extensive: funny videos, movie trailers, flash animation... plus my favorite section the greeting cards. I am too lazy to send regular cards in the regular mail!
As you'll remember from last week, I linked up with 57 new blogs. That beat out the previous record of less than 50. Well, this week, I linked up with 75 new blogs! That crushes 57! Check them all out in the Recent Additions. Wow, if this trend continues I may have to hire some additional help (but don't let that sway you, hehe).
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Do you have gout? One of my grandparents did... or maybe they still do. If that's the case, I should tell them about this gout relief medicine. The cool thing about this medicine is not only does it stop pain in about a week (with no side effects, by the way), but it also completely eliminates the gout after a couple of months. The no side effects is the really appealing part... there are lots of drugs out there for any disease, but not many that can claim NO side effects at all!

The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Well, something people were predicting to happen (or at least hoping would happen) has happened! In an official announcement on Monday, Pay Per Post will begin to require full disclosure of paid posts. This of course doesn't affect me at all, I've been disclosing all along. Some people however have taken to sneaking in paid posts with regular ones on their blog. This move comes in response to a FTC (Federal Trade Commission) statement against deceptive advertising. Though, this statement wasn't directly about Pay Per Post, they think it's better to stay safer than sorrier. Good move guys, now everybody will blog just like me. If you still haven't tried Pay Per Post, check out the link in the left sidebar and earn me a cool $15 for signing up!
I recently did an interview with Skittles. She collected a bunch of questions to ask me from her readers, as well as a bunch of her own. So, head on over and check it out if you want to learn a little bit more about who I am and what I do.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Poker isn't just a huge success here in America as of late, it is really big in Europe right now too. Last year, a London woman won 500 thousand pounds in the European Poker Tour (EPT... not to be confused with Error Proof Test). This was the largest prize won by a woman in Europe, so you can tell this tournament is a pretty big deal. William Hil is giving its visitors the chance to win a seat at this tournament, check out the site for details!
Simple Kind Of Life is the Bestest Blog of the Day! But Colleen the author of this great blog doesn't appear to have such a simple life. Colleen is 30 years old, married, and the mother of three children that are under the age of 10! A couple of her children are actually battling strep right now. 3 healthy children aren't simple let alone having a couple sick ones.
While Colleen manages a house full of children she is also attempting to raise money for the Breast Cancer 3-Day! Colleen is actually a training leader and will be walking 60 miles to raise funds for breast cancer research! That is no simple task! And as if that wasn't enough to keep her busy Colleen also has her sidekick Fifi to keep up with and keep out of trouble.
Colleen's blog is a fun read. It's obvious that she has put a large amount of time and effort into making her blog a reflection of her. I enjoy stopping by and paying Colleen and FiFi a visit each day. I hope when you drop in at Simple Kind Of Life you will tell Colleen that Jessie from Who Are We sent you via The Bestest Blog of All Time.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Sometimes a site that is broad in scope is very good...but sometimes you'd rather one that is narrow in scope. That is the difference between my previous Pay Per Post and this one. The one below is for hotel reservations basically anywhere, this one is specifically for Portugal Hotels. Though it is run by the same people... they are just attacking all sides of the reservation spectrum!
I'm sorry, but I am not going to allow negative comments about the "Bestest Blog of the Day" on their winning posts. I am all for freedom of speech, but trying to bring someone down on their winning day is not about freedom it's about being rude. If you think your videos are better than his are, then join the link exchange and prove it! Maybe you'll win someday soon...
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts This is a pretty cool site. They are offering (for a limited time I presume) their visitors a one hundred dollar rebate for making hotel reservations with them. Talk about Hotel Discounts! They have all the hot spots there too, not just crappy places. I think this site is up and coming, but I would safely predict that they are going to go places (just like you are going to go places if you book a hotel with them...ok that was corny, but oh well, I'm leaving it up!)
Fresh Videos: From Me to You Another blog with a simple concept (its name says it all) that really delivers! I do a lot of blog surfing and in the process see a lot of YouTube videos. So, to claim that your videos are "fresh" is not gonna fly with a guy like me unless they really are.
But "Redneck" doesn't disappoint. I have not stumbled upon a single one of the videos I checked out on his site. And they're really good too! "Fresh" and funny, a great combination. The only thing I felt I had kinda seen is this video about an infrared fart, only because they had done a similar skit on SNL (the recent episode where Hugh Laurie hosted if you're interested).
Ya know what? There's lots more awesome videos like this over there. Just head on over to "Fresh Videos" and check it out for yourself already, I could go on and on describing, when you're better off just watching. Perhaps mention that "Bestest Blog" sent you if you can!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Do I like free stuff? You better believe it. Today at work, there was mysteriously a whole spread of delicious foods. I don't need any other details, just that's it's there for the taking. Mmm mmm good! That is why it is completely logical that I would also like a site like dealking.com. Free stuff (like mobile phones), awesome deals (including ones where you get cash back). So if you're like me, you might like this site too!
I've had a great response so far to the "Bestest Blog Carnival." So much so that I don't think I need to keep it as a sticky post on top anymore. I'll be sure to remind you guys here and there as the week comes closer to a close, but in the mean time, I have other posts that need to be seen as well!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Do you know all there is to know about credit cards? Do you know what secured loans even are, let alone how they may benefit you or how to find the best one? What are you going to do someday when you are shopping for mortgages (besides panic)? Are you getting the most out of your current savings accounts? Do you even have home insurance, and will it cover everything you will need it for at a price you can afford? If you are unsure about the right answer to any of these questions, then maybe you need this website... The Thrifty Scot. I'm not gonna say it's the end all solution to your money problem, but it's a start, a step in the right direction. Check it out!
So, many of you have heard of a blog carnival...many of you I'm sure haven't. Well, I think this is something to get excited about, so in any case...read on!
What it is... A blog carnival is a way for many blogs to get exposure at once. One blog, the host, compiles a list of blog entries from anyone who is interested in submitting one. Once the deadline for submission expires, the host blogger takes all the links and makes them into one big long post for everyone to read! For an example of a blog carnival with a medical twist, check out "Grand Rounds" over at Doctor Anonymous.
What's different about this carnival... This carnival will be exclusively for those of you who have joined the Bestest Blog Link Exchange.
The rules... One entry per blogger per carnival. All entries should be family friendly. Again, any blog wishing to participate must have already participated in my link exchange here.
What else... The carnival will not be hosted here every week. As such, I am looking for bloggers who may be interested in hosting a future edition of the carnival. It is a great way to gain exposure for your site, as everyone will be stopping by to read, and many new links will pop up pointing bloggers over to your site. But, it is also a decent amount of work compiling all the links into a readable post. Currently, I am only offering Premium Blogs the opportunity to host. If you think you might be interested, email me at "BobbyGriffin@gmail.com"
Any other questions?... Leave a comment here, I'll be happy to answer them!
Wow, PayPerPost is now paying $15 per person I refer to their program! (Click the banner in the left sidebar if you wanna help me out) For those who are unfamiliar PayPerPost is a company where you find sponsored posts and get paid for writing about a product. To date I've made $834 in a little over 2 months. Not bad, huh? I've made on average about $8 per post I have written, usually around 100 words worth.
If you haven't tried PayPerPost, seriously, what are you waiting for? You can do 3 posts per day or one post per month, the decision is yours! You pick the things you blog about...COMPLETE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE! You pick whether or not to tell your readers it is a paid post (I always do, but that's a personal choice).
There are only a couple of guidelines to be accepted into their program. Your blog has to be at least 90 days old with at least 20 posts. This is strictly to prevent people from creating new blogs specifically for the purpose of abusing the PPP system. So, if you've created your blog on or before September 10th and have done at least 20 posts since then, you'll be approved!
Please click the banner in the left sidebar if you are interested in trying it out. There's no signup fee, you don't enter your credit card...gosh, I could just go on and on about the positives without ever hitting a single negative. I am not exaggerating either. Check it out!!
I love baseball!!! I absolutely love baseball. I don't like football or basketball or anything else...just baseball. This time of year is hard for me...the baseball season is long, but not long enough. Games go from April until October. I hold myself over with the hot stove right now. Listening to rumors of possible trades and potential free agent signings. One big signing that should happen soon is the Red Sox signing phenom Japanese pitcher D-Mat (I won't try to spell it, haha). Then, come Februrary, Spring Training starts! I better the Red Sox spring training this year will be insane, since they got the biggest star of the off season and this will be the first chance to check him out! Plus, spring training is in Florida, so I should get me a plane ticket, book a hotel room, and get me some Boston Red Sox Spring Training tickets.
"Another day in Afghanistan is over" according to Oklahoma's Finest. He has a countdown widget in his sidebar that means more to this blogger than words can say. As I write this post SGT DUB has 340 days 8161 hours left - in Kabul. In fact "Can I come home yet?" might be the reply you hear from one him on any given day, stationed there for his second deployment. He's a police office back home in Oklahoma and a member of the National Guard, teller of corny jokes and all around good guy.
While he's not defending the free world you might find him sending an email to Mrs. Dub, talking to his Afghan friends or British counterpart, studying algebra, watching the locals walk down Jalalabad Road or dodging explosions in Kabul.
What makes him happy? Mail, mail and more mail (preferably with food inside) SGT has a witty sense of humor and always begins each post with a joke. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're not (sorry SGT!) He came to my attention one day when he sent an email about a fallen soldier and made a Peace Globe in his honor. I plan to feature this remarkable man and his comrades on Friday in my Karaoke Blog.
No matter your political opinion or take on the current state of affairs in our world - notwithstanding Sarge's personal opinion on this war - he is there and he is doing his best. I respect SGT DUB and what he does everyday. For you. And me.
Please visit him. Send him your thoughts, prayers and a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Tell him Mimi and Bestest Blog of All-Time sent ya!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Someone mentioned to me the other day that we should have a Bestest Blog convention, where everyone could meet in person. While this isn't a bad idea, maybe at this early stage of the game it's a little impractical. BUT! We could have a VIRTUAL Bestest Blog convention. We could do it with video conferencing....we just need to get us some Video Conferencing Equipment and we'll be all set. Plus, I'm sure the equipment would be useful in other facets of life...I mean this stuff is top shelf equipement!
Hey guys...I just opened up a CafePress store with some cool "Bestest Blog" stuff in it. The website is: http://www.cafepress.com/BestestBlog. Free shipping on any order over $50 and here is a coupon code for $5 off a $20 order "CAMERAVISION"
For each item you purchase from the store, you'll be credited with a $5 premium blog credit. How bout that! Let me know what you guys think of my design...I already bought this shirt for myself.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts (Note to PPP reviewer: Using the tool located at http://ppp.customtools.urltrends.com/index.php I have a Common PR of 5/10 and an average PR of 4.56/10. Find a gift for the person who has everything...or for the person you are just stumped on! Plus, with online shopping you get to avoid the malls, which are hell at this time of year. I mean, if it weren't for the internet, I'd probably do my Christmas shopping in September just to avoid the madness! These Gourmet Gifts feature a variety of gourmet foods and come in a unique gift box. It's a pretty good idea if you are stumped for sure!
The Ordinary Advertures of Tomas So, you know how kids create an imaginary friend when they don't have any other friends to play with? Well, what if an imaginary friend didn't have any other friends to play with...well, you'd get Tomas and his ordinary adventures.
Ok, that description makes this blog sound kind of childish, but I couldn't think of a better way to write it without giving away too much. Let's just say, it's certainly good for a laugh. But trust me, you'll enjoy yourself more if you check it out and figure it out for yourself...it's a really creative concept!
It's kind of like a comic strip, though there are no drawings (damn, I'm really being mysterious here). Anyway, after browsing through them for the past hour or so, I thought I'd post a few of my favorites for you to check out (hopefully you'll look at all these and more!): Doubting Tomas, The Other Side, Doppleganger, and Self Portrait.
Sometimes the blogs I feature have a fair share of readers already, and I just help to add to that (in the immediate future and in the long run), this is not one of those blogs. Despite the fact that I think this is a really cool blog, certainly better than the average, this blog hasn't eclipsed 16 readers in a single day this past entire month.
So, go check out "The Ordinary Adventures of Tomas" and let's see if we can't obliterate that record for this and many days to come. P.S. Who is it that sent you again?!?
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts If you run an online business, one of your biggest fears and concerns should be your website crashing. Now, there are plenty of natural reasons for this to happen, and it is bound to happen from time to time, but not ususually for extended periods of time....UNLESS...! There are people out there known as extortionists who attack websites causing them to disallow new visitors. These people are idiots, but very hard to catch, and can do thousands and thousands of dollars of damage to a popular site. This is where ProxyShield DDoS Protection comes in. Though a bit expensive, it pays for itself in peace of mind!
So, this week's updates are complete. Thanks to all the new blogs who linked up and everyone who made a donation. You can check it all out on the Recent Additions page. Here are some noteworthy events that took place, that I found interesting, maybe you will too: (1) I had a record number of new blogs sign up this week...57! I think the previous high was 46...in any case it was definitely under 50. Could this be a sign of good things to come?
(2) I broke $2000 in donations. Well gee guys, I was gonna have another contest, because I didn't expect to get here so soon. Only 6 weeks to go from $1000 to $2000...where as it took 10 weeks to get that first milestone. Again...good sign of things to come?
(3) Well, I said from the beginning that the sidebar was for the top 100 donators. Up until now it didn't matter. But this week, we finally eclipsed 100 bloggers who have made a donation. Therefore, sorry to #101 and #102...Peanut, Peanut Butter...Jelly! and LAEvanesce: Muses and Opines respectively. Don't worry guys, all you lose is the sidebar. You're still on the Premium Blogs category page, still at the top of the list on your category page, still got extra hits in the Random Blog button. And if you ever decide you want back in the sidebar, you can just add to your current total...no need to start over.
(4) Lastly, a funny observation. The web is funny how it works, information slowly permeates different sectors of the web. As such, I thought it was cool that this week 3 separate blogs about Cricket linked to me (cricket the crazy British sport, not the bug). Previously, I had none linked up.
Well, that's that. Thanks for reading and be sure to check out today's Rerun before you click away!
As I'm sure anyone who has visited this site in the past will notice, I have a new template! Well, it's a rehashing of the old one with a new color scheme and lots more javascript functionality. Please let me know what you guys think, as none of this is written in stone. Many of my changes were based on suggestions visitors had in the past few months and I am definitely open to even more suggestions. Thanks!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Here is a site that offers advice on personal loans and secured loans. Personally, I don't think loans are such a great idea... but some instances I guess some people don't really have an option, huh? I learned from this site that a cheap loan is not necessarily a good loan. They also offer advice on mortgages. I think this advice is a little more practical and widespread... I mean who doesn't aim to own a home of their own some day. And who among those thinks they will be able to pay for it with cash... I thought not. So check it out if this sounds interesting to you. Thanks for reading.
Skittles' Place Where, oh where, to begin... Anyone who is at all a regular visitor here has more than likely visited Barb's (aka Skittles) blog at one point or another. After only posting a total of 47 times in August and September combined (which for a normal blogger would be decently high), Barb went on to post 172 times in October. Not to be out done, she posted 224 times in November. For those of you who aren't math teachers like me, that's an average of 7.47 posts per day. And she's on pace to break her record in December, with a projected total of 256 posts! Barb is an incredible lady who has really found her niche with blogging.
But quantity isn't everything, am I right? Don't fret, Barb isn't all about quantity, but quality as well! She's a regular Thursday Thirteener...and a Friday Feaster...she posts lots of funny videos...and lots of cool pictures (literally cool in this particular instance)...she's known to post a bunch of fun quizzes...and she does the occasional meme.
But it's not all fun and games...Barb often gets very personal at times on her site. You might say her life reads like an open blog (*rimshot* haha!). If Barb is feeling upset, she writes a sad post...feeling pissed off, she writes an angry post. I have never seen a blog (and I've seen a lot of blogs) where you can really get a sense that you know the blogger as I have on Barb's blog.
One regular feature of Barb's blog that I really have to commend her on is her "Just a Quickie" posts. On these posts, Barb posts a question to her readers, like "Do you procrastinate?". Seems like a very simple idea (and it is), but Barb has built such a great community of readers on her blog, that the discussion that unfolds in the comments section is amazing!
Barb's blog has been very deserving of this award for a long time, probably since the second she linked up here. Not only does she have an incredible blog, but she has been amazingly generous to me, and a very faithful visitor and reader. Barb has mentioned on several occasions that she was really jonesing for this award. It was fun to make her wait, but I did have my reasons. First of all, I wanted to make sure I was able to give her blog the review it deserved...nice and long and detailed (I had off from school today for the Catholic holiday of the feast of the ascension). Also, I am just a little afraid that now that Barb has won the award she won't visit me anymore! This one is a little out of my hands, but Barb is a great lady, I don't think this will happen! At least I know she'll be stopping by to read her review today.
So, please, oh please, go and visit "Skittles' Place" and introduce yourself to Barb. You'll be glad you did!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Have you guys checked out the PayPerPost blog? It's a great resource for news about the site. For example, that's where I found out that we were only going to be doing 2 posts per day for awhile... others seem baffled when they found out, but if they read the blog, they would've known. They also post information about upcoming updates (like how we can now reserve an opportunity for 30 minutes while we type it out). Also, you'll see them post a lot of silly stuff on there... like the rap smackdown challenges or the confessionals. It's a good mix of serious and fun... plus it's hosted here on BlogSpot, which I thought was funny for a big shot company like them. So, check out the blog for useful Pay Per Post info, and if you haven't joined up with them yet, check out the link in the left sidebar. You'll be glad you did.
(repost)Lately, most of the donations I've been receiving for Premium Blogs have been from bloggers who had previously already made a donation, and were so happy with the results, that they made another donation. For whatever reason, I haven't been getting as many new donations recently.
So, I thought since people are clearly happy with the donations they've already made and the traffic they've already received, why not give them a little motivation to spread the word.
So, starting today and going on until further notice, Premium Blog members will receive a 25% referral for anyone they talk into going premium. That means for each $1 you talk your friends or your readers into donating, you'll receive a quarter towards your blog. More traffic for them, more traffic for you...everybody's happy! I'm sorry, but this affiliate program is only open to current and future premium blog donators. After all, you can't spread the word if you haven't experienced it yourself.
If you do encourage someone to make a donation, be sure they let me know they were referred by you. (For now at least) it's a really informal process, just have them type your name, or your blog name, or your email when they send in the donation. If you ask them later and they forgot to, just have them send me an email saying "whoops, I forgot to mention..." If you know a friend is definitely gonna send a donation and you're afraid they'll forget to mention you, send me an email yourself with a "heads up."
Thanks for reading and please guys let me know what you think of this new idea!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Hey guys, check out this funny video! It's about a girl who is going swimming and loses the top half of her bathing suit. A stand-up citizen tries to help her out and comedy ensues. Sounds a lot like Jewish Dating, or something else that makes a little more sense? Ahh Pay Per Post, nothing like being paid to put funny videos on your blog. If only I could make a full time job out of that!
I do a lot of random blog surfing with my button. More than anyone out there I'd be willing to bet. But of course, I can't visit everyone (over 1000 blogs) on a regular basis. So, I'm giving you guys a tip on how to ensure a visit from me. Every day I do a google blog search for the term "bestest blog" to see if anyone has posted anything about my site. So, if you make a new post that mentions "Bestest Blog," it will be sure to come up in my search and I'll be sure to stop by to see what's going on (and usually leave a comment!).
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts (To the PayPerPost reviewer...I am sorry for "holding" this opportunity as you put it. Your email implied to me that it is against the rules, and as such I will not do it again. Thank you and I am sorry!) Growing up in Pennsylvania, one of the big events of the year was the opening of deer hunting season. Many schools (not mine, but a lot of my friends') had off from school for the opening of the season. Well, somehow I never really got into it...but I definitely know a lot of people who did. If you know one of these people (or are one of these people), then this website will be of interest to you. Holidays gifts for a friend or yourself like rifle scopes and range finders.
A year is really a long time if you think about it. It's 525,600 minutes, 8760 hours, 12 months, or 365 days. That's a lot of time. And if you are Meany Quinn the guy behind the bestest blog of the day then a year equals 365 days worth of pictures of him.
I picked this blog for the bestest award because it is unique. I do a lot of searching through blogs and this is the first blog that I have seen using this format. It's simple and I love that! He just posts a picture of himself each day. He does not write a post, he does not explain the picture, it is simply a picture of him.
It is fascinating how the same person can appear different in a matter of days. Think about how we transform ourselves in the course of a year. Different hair colors and hair cuts, getting new glasses or not wearing our glasses, adding a hat, growing a beard, shaving a beard. Life happens and we change in a moment. 365 days captures those changes each day. It's fascinating to watch Meany Quinn change as the days go by.
A few of my favorite pictures include Day 8. He has some hot glasses on that day! And you can't miss Day 17. His funky hat cracks me up.
So please go check out 365 days. You will find a blog that is unique, fun, simple, and one of the bestest I've seen. Make sure to tell my picture pal Meany Quinn that Jessie from Who Are We sent you via The Bestest Blog of All Time .
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Here's a coolsite for Lemon Free Car Classifieds. If you don't know what a "lemon" is in terms of cars, that last sentence might sound a little funny. A lemon is a car that you buy used that turns out to be nothing more than a big heap of useless metal. So, the fact that this site is "lemon free" is a very good thing! They even have a section dedicated to my car model, the Honda Civic. My Civic has been very good to me...definitely lemon free. They have a lot of useful info about the cars they are selling...gas mileage, crash test safety ratings, and recall information. So, if you happen to be in the market for a new car, check out this website. Even if you want to just do some research about the pro's and con's of certain models, this is an excellent resource, enjoy!
Tricia's Musings Today, I was surfing around in my Technorati stats and decided to sort all the blogs that link to me by authority. Basically this means sort all the blogs by how many different blogs link to THEM, starting with the most. Well, Tricia's blog here holds the distinction of being the ONLY blog (out of 1102 at the time of this message) who has more blogs linking to her (she's got 1219). Well, being intrigued by this surprising discovery, I decided that I must take a closer look at Tricia's blog.
And I can honestly say that I am glad I did. You don't get over 1200 blogs to link to you without doing something a lot of things right. Her site looks great! A wonderful layout, easy to navigate, nice color scheme...much more than I can say for my site, hahaha! I am not very artistically inclined...maybe Tricia can give me a few pointers.
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Do hate driving? There are lots of reasons to hate driving. Traffic... gas prices... expensive maintenance and repairs... the list goes on. Well, what are your alternatives? There's walking (not very likely for me!). There's public transportation... ICK! But there's also an option that's cheap and fun! Have you considered using Electric Scooters? This website specializes in them! They also have lots of other great, fun, and cheap modes of transportation for getting around. There's Go Karts, Razor Electric Scooters, Electric Bikes, Gas Scooters, and Motor Scooters. They all sound like fun to me...but more than that it does sound pretty practical as well.
Muffin53 I know I've seen many of my regular visitors over at Empress Bee's site, and I know she's visited many of yours as well. Well, Bee has been away from blogging for awhile, so I hope none of you have lost touch with her. BUT!...she had a good reason! As a wonderful 60th birthday present from Charlie. Click that link for a full list of places they were scheduled to go to.
Anyway, Bee just returned home from this 22 day extravanganza, so it is the perfect time for new and old visitors alike to head on over, welcome her back home and check out the amazing pictures she's taken and stories she has to tell. She has manyimpressionsof Rome, where they fell in love with pizza, gelato, beautiful ancient architecture, while suffering through the pains of using pay toilets.
Next, they moved onto Tuscany, which Bee attests is the most beautiful place on Earth and they enjoyed what sounds and looks like one of the most delicious meals on Earth. Then, Bee had several pictures of a little town named Siena, where they couldn't resist photographing some beautiful images on their way to Piza (to see the leaning tower!).
I can tell that Bee is still just BEGINNING to recount this amazing vacation, so what better time to become a regular reader of hers?? So, head on over to "Muffin 53" to vicariously experience an amazing vacation (as well as lots of other great posts from Bee before she went on the vacation that I didn't have time or space to feature here, hehe!).
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Do I work hard enough on this site to call it a business yet? Ehh, probably not, especially since I think about a business being more than 1 person, where as this is basically just me. Anyway, this Eclipse site is having a deal on Business Broadband. 20% off! But again, I don't think one guy on his desktop would qualify as a business. Even if it did, I'm pretty sure the appeal of business broadband is hooking up multiple computers, not just one! Any business owners reading this? Check it out!
Heroines and Heros Another great new idea for promoting the blogosphere. I think Annelisa describes her own blog the best, so here it is: "A Blogging poem about interesting or fun places I've been in the blogosphere - My new blogging friends"
Whenever she finds a blog she likes, she writes a rhyming couplet about the blog and includes a link. This is a very poetic and creative way of spreading the word on blogs you like! Here is the couplet for my blog: "Focal point of many voices, This canny dude will give you choices." Not bad, not bad at all. In fact, it's great!
So, if you're looking for some new blogs to read today, first go read some of Annelisa's poetry at "Heroines and Heros" and click on the links that appeal to you. Leave her a comment with some words of encouragement and an invitation to visit your blog...then maybe her next poem will be about you!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I am a very disorganized person. Well, I try to be organized, but it doesn't always work out. I convince myself that I can mentally remember important things with no problem...then it comes time to remember, and I know there was something important there, but I haven't the foggiest what it is. I have no date book, I am an adult and do not have one, how sad is that? I think part of the problem is that I would have no way to carry around such a thing. Women have purses...I'm not about to keep a date book in my pocket. That is why I think BrainCast is onto something. They have a message/memo system that automatically adds on to any cell phone (or regular phone). Well, I certainly have a cell phone, so maybe this is my solution. If you're like me, give it a look!
The Funny Blogs section here at Bestest Blog of All-Time is chock-full of great examples of comedic writing, not the least of which is Nate Smith's Nate is a Blog. I think that it takes quite a bit of talent and work to write a funny blog, and Nate seems to be doing a fine job on his! So if you ever find yourself in need of a good guffaw, head on over to his side of the blogworld and take a stroll through his head. Who knows, you just might like it enough to keep coming back!
Just what makes Nate's blog so amusing? He has a penchant for turning the mundane into something that can make a reader chuckle, or at the very least, smile. Take, for example, his own name. "Nate Smith" isn't exactly the most exotic-sounding name, not by a long shot. So how did he make it not only blogworthy, but interestingly and amusingly so? Why, by starting a series called Best Nate Smith Ever! World Rankings. Nate scours the Web for his name twins, does a bit of research to determine whether or not he's better than them, and rates them. So far he has discovered four other Nate Smiths, and he trails behind two of them--according to his own ranking.
Nate has also started a series that he calls Lesser of Two Evils. Which one is worse (or better, depends on your point of view): to kill the last living koala bear with a cheese grater, or to knowingly give birth to a child who will successfully grow up to commit genocide? You'll just have to read this post to find out which one he thought was the lesser evil, and why.
Many of us have pretended to be another person (or non-person)--at least in our minds. From what I've seen on his blog, Nate has pretended to be a pilgrim, a sea horse, a WiFi-less pirate and the President of the United States. (My apologies if these posts were indeed written by the entities they were ascribed to, haha!)
Another humorous aspect to Nate's blog is the way it shows his cheerful outlook (well, most times anyway) on some things that would depress so many of us, like losing a job. But this certainly didn't depress Nate, oh no. He was actually glad that he got laid off. And the experience didn't dent this guy's self-confidence any, as you will see in a letter of recommendation that he himself wrote. And if you want further evidence of his healthy self-esteem and sunny nature, you'll find it in a post that he wrote about his awesome job interview.
So add some cheer to your day by going to Nate Is a Blog, a place where panda bears can ride unicorns but unicorns cannot ride panda bears; where the "rad and awesome" author wears a fake mustache and is having just the teeniest, tiniest bit of an identity crisis. And don't forget to mention that Lizza and Bestest Blog of All-Time made you do it!
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I am a guy who is very mathematically inclined (duh I'm a math teacher). Couple that with the fact that I love to play games of all sorts and you might come to the conclusion that I am a big poker player. Well, you'd be wrong...to an extent. Do I know how to play poker? Of course I do, multiple varieties, 5 Card Draw, 7 Card Stud, the ever popular Texas Hold 'Em and the little known Omaha Hi/Lo. Have I played online for money before? Yeah, I have, but not much. A table with a $10 buy in and minimal bets. The problem is, when I play pretend poker, I make all the bets I know I should...but when I play for real money I shy away from bets that I could probably win if the stakes get even remotely high. Well, that's me, decide for poker yourself. If you're on a mac, check out this site with Mac poker rooms. You might also be interested in their tournament strategy guide...I know I am!
The weekend updates are completed! 44 new blogs, as well as 6 new premium blogs (not including previous premiums who added to their total). You can see this list below, as well as in the Recent Additions page.
I've also been working on applying some of the things I've learned in my new javascript book to the site. One minor thing I did that you'll notice is in my list of "Previous Posts" in the left sidebar, my PayPerPost posts are not listed. I figured everyone isn't AS interested in those to include them in the list. I am also on the brink of making it so the Random Blog button only shows each blog once per viewing session...or maybe even once a day.
And if you haven't already, check out the Premium Affiliate post below. I think it's a great idea, but we'll have to see how it goes!

The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts I do a lot of my holiday shopping on the internet...and by I, I mean my wife mostly. This isn't a husband/wife kinda thing, it is just the pure and simple fact that she has better Holiday Gift Ideas. I would post some of this year's Holiday Gift Ideas, except I know that several of my and her family members read this blog. Sometimes the best strategy is to just browse and browse some more on different websites until a gift with one of your recipient's interests shows itself.
Today, our winner is not only a Premium Blog, but "Bestest Blog of the Month" for August 2006 (as you can see in the top right corner there). And to tell you the truth, this blog is deserving of every honor my site can bestow on it (and probably lots of awards from other sites too!).
This blog features the cartoons of Mr. Irish. They are expertly drawn and very funny and witty. "Witty" I think is a great compliment because it implies a level of originality, not that hackneyed garbage you see in lots of comics like "Fred Basset."
Mr. Irish's cartoons are "Far Side" style, meaning one single square panel. In fact, "Far Side" isn't a bad comparison for the type of humor either (which is another great compliment, because I do love "Far Side"). But, honestly, I think Mr. Irish's actual drawings are better, they've got a unique style like nothing I've ever seen before.
So, head on over and check out Mr. Irish and "Irish's Cartoons". He really loves comments, so don't be afraid to leave some and any that give you a laugh...(and of course, mention who sent you in those comments)
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts So, it looks like Pay Per Post has done it again. They are the kings (and queens) of great internet idea. They have a new web site all about the process of starting up a new internet company (like they just did). The site is called Rockstartup.com and it is basically a business reality tv. It chronicles the journey of Ted and Britt as they build their company from the bottom up. There are two episodes up already and they are interesting to watch. Starting a business is not easy, and you definitely get that impression from this video. When you couple that with the fact that Pay Per Post has so many good, innovative ideas and it is still difficult, it makes you realize why so many companies fall into the crapper after so short a time. They say episode three is coming soon and personally I am excited to see where this is going. I wonder if there is a breaking point after which you can tell for sure that a company is going to succeed. Sometimes it seems like out of nowhere a company will file for bankruptcy when you think they were doing ok. So, I think Pay Per Post will make it for sure, so I am going to watch these videos with an eye of when the panic of potential failure goes away and they settle into a rhythm of kicking some business ass!

The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts So, I just got back from a chat over on this great new site I found. It was a pretty awesome chatroom. The people in it were pretty funny...but of course, I stole the show with my unending wit and sarcasm. Though sometimes I fear sarcasm doesn't translate as well in a chatroom as it does in real life. Oh well, as long as I am making myself laugh, who cares if the other people are laughing or not. They typed "lol" in the chatroom, but they could be lying, ya know? So check it out sometime my peeps.
I’m 26 years old. I have a ton of student loan debt and it’s still accumulating, I have some credit card debt that I’m really focused on getting rid of, I have a 19 year old sister that I partially support and at this point in time I have two mortgages on two different homes (that’s a whole other story!). What all of that means is I’m a girl on a budget, a very tight budget!
And luckily I’ve found a girl in a similar position. That’s why I’ve chosen A Girl Worth Saving as Bestest Blog of the Day! Miss Kelly BeJelly describes herself as “Your average Jane with a husband, a dog, and an addiction to chocolate covered marshmallow candy”. But her new six letter word is BUDGET and she is getting it all figured out.
Miss Kelly BeJelly tracks her progress and shares it with us. You can check in and see how she is doing in reducing her debt as well as how her savings are increasing. Even if you have your finances together and budget isn’t a six letter word that scares you this is a great blog to visit! Kelly has a wonderful way of writing and has some interesting views on money, saving, and life in general. Make sure you stop by and tell her that Jessie from Who Are We sent you via The Bestest Blog of All Time
The following is a PayPerPost advertisement...scroll down for more posts Have you ever wondered what the market value of your house might be? Or while we're at it, maybe you want to know the market value of your neighbors house? Or quite possibly you want to get an estimate for a new house you have your eyes on (my readers know that this option is most likely for me, as I will be in the market for a new house within a few years and all my money is going towards that already!). Well eppraisal.com is your new online source for property appraisal. I really like it when companies take a word, put an "e" in front of it and make that their internet company. Another one that comes to mind is esurance.com. Maybe these guys are in cahoots. Anyway, check it out, there are 70 million plus homes in the database for your appraising pleasure!
