It's funny. In the weeks before Christmas, all the commercials are like spend now, great deals, check out this exclusive offer! Then after Christmas it's all about, save money, do your taxes, etc. A lot of people max out their credit cards at Christmas...the balance of their current accounts near (or below!) zero. They lose sight of being able to pay for important things like home insurance and their mortgages. And before you know it, they get walloped at tax time and need to take out a secured loan to pay it off. I am proud to say I am NOT one of these people. I know Christmas is the giving season, but you have to be reasonable and spend within your means!

Been on a bit of a hiatus, but I had to break that to write this post.  This may be the bestest blog, but I think I just found the bestest gift ideas site .  Ok, imagine this.  You need to get a gift for your aunt from Cleveland.  You know she likes the Cleveland Browns and quilting, but that's about it.
