PayPerPost referrals

Wow, PayPerPost is now paying $15 per person I refer to their program! (Click the banner in the left sidebar if you wanna help me out) For those who are unfamiliar PayPerPost is a company where you find sponsored posts and get paid for writing about a product. To date I've made $834 in a little over 2 months. Not bad, huh? I've made on average about $8 per post I have written, usually around 100 words worth.

If you haven't tried PayPerPost, seriously, what are you waiting for? You can do 3 posts per day or one post per month, the decision is yours! You pick the things you blog about...COMPLETE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE! You pick whether or not to tell your readers it is a paid post (I always do, but that's a personal choice).

There are only a couple of guidelines to be accepted into their program. Your blog has to be at least 90 days old with at least 20 posts. This is strictly to prevent people from creating new blogs specifically for the purpose of abusing the PPP system. So, if you've created your blog on or before September 10th and have done at least 20 posts since then, you'll be approved!

Please click the banner in the left sidebar if you are interested in trying it out. There's no signup fee, you don't enter your credit card...gosh, I could just go on and on about the positives without ever hitting a single negative. I am not exaggerating either. Check it out!!

That sounds like a good site; I will definitely take a look. The only downside is that if you write an article they don't approve, you will not get paid. Most people just write about what they want to write about, so I am wondering if there are any tight restrictions on what you write. Regardless, I will check it out.

There are basically 2 restrictions on the posts. First, the word count - no real way to get around this...Second, is that some posts require you to blog positively about the product...if you'd prefer not to do those type, you don't have to. These types are definitely the minority (< 25%).

Also, if a post is rejected, you are given the opportunity to fix it and resubmit. I've missed word counts, copied links incorrectly...they send you a friendly email telling you what to fix and you fix it. No biggie!

Hey Bobby,

I recently noticed they changed it from 3 posts per day allowed to only 2. Have you noticed this? I've made about $250 since I started about 2 months ago. Thanks for getting me to sign up!

Yeah, they talked about it in their blog, but insisted that it would only be a temporary thing while they retooled some things. Since the dashboard is all pretty and new, I'd be willing to guess that it might go back to normal soon.

I've read its a max of two per user. Does this mean that they you aren't allowed to post more than two posts even if you have more than one approved blog?
Bobby Griffin said…
Currently the max is two posts PER BLOG. So if you have 3 approved blogs, that's 6 posts per day. But the 2 per day thing we've been told is temporary, and it should be going back to 3 per day (which would be a total of 9 in my scenario) very soon.

Your blog has been added to the rotation! Thanks for joining!

I look forward to being able to join this. I'm not going to turn my blog into one long advert, but it would be cool to be able to invest some cash in better hosting & to make donations to sites that provide free tools to help bloggers out....

Thanks for dropping a comment on my blog the other night Bobby, I'm still amazed that you found the post less than 30 mins after I put it up.

I've just read Skittles blog and if there's any Gmail invites left, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks again.

They haven't approved me because my blog is mainly about beetroots - and they don't advertise beetroots - apparently.

How do you get paid if they don't take any card info? I opened a paypal account so I could start PPP but i wasn't asked once for a card # or bank info? Did I do it right? I also heard that it takes 72 hours for them to approve your blog, I signed up on Fri. and still haven't heard anything, are they taking buisness hours? I don't find their website to be very helpful in answering my questions. Sorry for all the questions :)
Bobby Griffin said…
Yeah, I think they mean business days. Check out the forums for more info: http://board.payperpost.com

PayPerPost pays directly into your PayPal account. If you prefer not to give them a bank account # for direct deposit, you can have them mail you a check.

Don't worry about the questions...happy to help!
