Westward Ho Folks
In his blog, Terry Ploeckelmann (wow, what a last name) "chronicles (via a diary and photos) a trip that Terry and his wife Stefi are taking across the U.S. singing in nursing homes. Beginning July 1st in New York, and ending August 1st in New Mexico." So the trip is just getting started, but there are quite a few good posts up already.

One thing I really like about this site is how Terry describes all of the towns he visits, both with words and some good photography. And, with about 20 stops along the way, there's a chance he'll be stopping in a town you're familiar with. Click here for their itenarary, maybe they'll be stopping in your home town. Who knows, maybe the "Sweet Spinners" will even be playing for your grandparents. Their next stop will actually be at a nudist colony...hopefully they won't be playing for your grandparents there (Don't worry, Terry promises that no pictures will be posted from THIS venue!).

Terry and Stefi don't have kids, but they do have a pet, affectionately nicknamed their "Dogter." Queenie is rolling along with them in their 1978 Chevy Motor Home. I just had to mention this because I think "Dogter" is a really funny and cute nickname. My wife and I have 2 female dogs (and no kids), so we may have to adopt this nickname.

So, be sure to check out Westward Ho Folks before the tour is over. Wish Terry and Stefi good luck in their upcoming performances and link up their blog if you enjoy what you read!

This blog idea is great,I mean the idea of exchanging links.
But the problem which may face you is blogs which don't appeal to your thinking.

Any way,you can visit my 2 blogs in English,(Clean Fun):for talking about Islamic religion and real terrorism,(Clean Photos):for publising my own shooted photos,if you liked them you can contact me.

I just added a link to your blog in both the blogs that I post in. However, since A Dance in Silent Violins doesn't have a sidebar I've added you to the links section. You'll find yourself listed under "FOOTPRINTS". In Frenzy, you'll find yourself in the sidebar.

If you do add my blogs to your listings, I'd appreciate it if you could add them to the poetry/fiction section. Thanks. Smile.

I liked Terry's story about touring nursing homes, an unselfish mission. He's got a handful of other blogs on various topics. He's definately someone with a voice who's worth checking out. Thanks for the rerun,

Fuzz

Hey folks, this is Terry, and both Stefi and I appreciate all the feedback. The reason we are not able to update as opten as we would like is because we are not able to find enough WIFI's. When we do find one, I try to bring every one up to speed.

Thanks,
Terry & Stefi...The Sweet Spinners
